I tattooed myself yesterday with a small heart on my calf. I love it, its simple and its my first ever. I started tattooing about 3 weeks ago (give or take). And up to that point (my tattoo) I wasn't sure how well I would take to it. but after having done it I feel a pull towards are and tattooing like never before. I love it, when I tattoo it feels so natural that I don't really notice the weight of the gun anymore. I want to draw and design tattoos all the time and at some point, maybe 6 months maybe a year I plan on doing it professionally.

For years and years people have been telling me to go to school for art and I always thought that I would just end up getting sick of it. I wish I had listened. but now it doesn't matter because I want to tattoo more than anything. I've caught on so quickly these past few weeks that I almost feel I'm doing something wrong. but everything is safe, sterile and well looked after. I have an autoclave, coverings, gloves, the whole 9! and I'm loving every minute of it.

I've been planning on getting a visa to use when buying supplies. like a better autoclave, more ink (more colours), needles and everything.

I've been keeping a drawing book for designs and sketches. I have several people who say once I'm more practiced that they'll be wanting one from me. I feel so much pride in what I'm doing that the prep and sterilization process doesn't bother me in the least.

thats my update for now. I'm loving my life. I'm loved and love more than anything and have found what I want to do with my life. :3
